ASA rents mailing lists of Association members by area of interest, subscribed journals, and special interest sections. The lists are continuously updated. Mailing lists include preferred mailing address only; ASA does not sell or rent member email addresses.
Mailing lists include current members as well as unrenewed members from the immediate prior membership year. Lists are provided in Excel format. The mailing list counts listed below are as of July 11, 2023, and exclude the approximately 30 percent of ASA members who have opted out of having their information included in mailing list rentals. See ASA Privacy Policy.
Requirements
- The mailing piece must align with the requirements of the ASA Advertising Policy.
- Each mailing must be submitted as a separate order with separate order forms. We process each list individually.
- A sample mailing piece must accompany each order; if final copy is not available, a reasonable facsimile is acceptable. ASA reserves the right to refuse orders for any of its lists.
- Mailing lists are provided for one-time use only and may not be reproduced, stored, or saved for subsequent use.
- All sales are final.
Rates
- Mailing lists are $275 per thousand contacts. Minimum order is $275.
- No reduced rates will apply if fewer than the total number of names ordered are used.
- Current counts are run with each order; charges for all lists are based on these counts. We do not provide counts prior to running a mailing list order. Special request fees are charged for all orders other than the total list (e.g., U.S. only, random selection, etc.). There is a $50 fee per special request.
- ASA offers a 15% discount to recognized list brokers on member lists only. Section and Area Interest lists are not eligible for a brokers’ discount.
How to Order
Orders must complete the online mailing list rental order form and upload the required sample mailing piece.
Delivery
Five business days are required to process orders. Electronic files are provided via Excel. Any request that requires turnaround in fewer than five business days will be charged a $50 fee for rush processing.
