Join us on October 6 from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. for the main event, a virtual networking day.
Employers will set up virtual booths and job seekers will move around the virtual expo hall to visit various employers. There will be opportunity to engage in a combination of short one-on-one and small group conversations between job seekers and employers, similar to what happens at an in-person job fair.
Can we connect before and after October 6?
Yes, this is possible through the ASA Job Bank. All ASA members have access to the Job Bank, and employers have access while they have an active listing. Job seekers are encouraged to upload CVs and/or resumes and other related materials to the Job Bank by September 18 and keep their profiles active for 90 days. Nonmember job seekers can also purchase access to this feature. Employers are encouraged to review those materials and reach out to job seekers to schedule brief introductory conversations.
Dates to remember:
September 15, 21, 27, & October 2- 11:00a.m.-3:00p.m. Eastern. Employers choose one of these windows to set up their booths for the expo. See step-by-step instructions below, and support will be available.
September 18: While job seekers can post materials in the Job Bank any time, employers will begin searching most actively now so we encourage job seekers to think of this as a deadline.
September 18-December 18: While employers with active listings in the ASA Job Bank can peruse job seeker materials any time, this period may be especially fruitful as job seekers are being asked to focus attention on providing materials during this window.
September 29: Registration for the Job Expo closes.
October 3: Expo floor opens for job seekers to browse employer booths in advance of the networking event. This is for job seekers only, not employers.
October 6: This is the main event. Employers and job seekers convene in the live networking event 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Eastern.
What does this cost?
Job seekers
Free for ASA members.
$50 for non-members to join the October 6 networking event; $50 to post materials in the Job Bank for 90 days.
Employers
$50 to participate in the October 6 networking event for employers who have, or will have, an active listing in the ASA Job Bank any time between September 1 and December 1.
$250 for all other employers to participate on October 6.
