2023

Congratulations to Patricia Hill Collins (MFP Cohort 7) on receiving the 2023 Berggruen Prize for Philosophy and Culture. Congratulations to LaShaune Johnson (MFP Cohort 29) on becoming the President of the Midwest Sociological Society (2023-24). Dr. Johnson is “committed to engaging public sociologists and sociologists working outside of academia as well as community partner voices” in her new role. She succeeds MSS’s Past President, Brian Donovan.
