Sociology and Other Social Science Salary Increases: Past, Present, and Future

Using data from the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, this research brief finds that despite a small increase in average annual salaries for sociology faculty (from the previous year) over the inflation rate, purchasing power for those faculty will remain flat unless there are major salary increases in the years ahead.
