The Program Committee for the Annual Meeting usually consists of twelve people, four officers and eight appointed members, as outlined below. In years where there is a Secretary-Elect, that person shadows the Secretary and participates in Program Committee meetings.
President-Elect, Vice President-Elect, Secretary, Executive Officer, two carry-over members from the previous year's Program Committee, and six members nominated by the President-Elect and approved by ASA Council.

ASA provides two avenues for groups desiring to have a presence at the Annual Meeting. Policies on the use of meeting space and display tables are outlined below. Please note that because ASA Sections have been allotted program time, they are excluded from these provisions. Requests for meeting space and/or table space must be received no later than March 1, 2018.
ASA is now accepting volunteers to serve as Presider, Table Presider, or Discussant for sessions on the 2018 program. Volunteers identify the topics in which they are interested, and session organizers will contact volunteers directly if they are looking for presiders or discussants. Volunteering does not guarantee an invitation will be extended, and these roles do count towards the program participation limit of two appearances. The deadline to volunteer is January 11, 2018.
