Share Your Story: Help Demonstrate the Value of Sociology

Calling all former undergraduates who majored in or took sociology courses!  Did your sociological education have an impact on your life?  In 500 words or less, please tell us how your sociological education informs(ed) your current and past work intellectually, substantively, and/or methodologically. Please also share if there are ways in which your sociological education has been meaningful and impactful outside of work. Please be as specific as possible. We are hoping to collect hundreds of these stories that we can use to demonstrate the value of sociology at a time when the discipline is under threat from legislators who largely don’t understand what sociology students know, understand and are able to do as a result of their coursework. Please help us create a compelling group of narratives. We’d love to highlight your accomplishments.
