Bylaws for the Governance of Work in Progress (WIPsociology) Blog

WIPsociology was founded in 2011 by the Organizations, Occupations and Work Section of the American Sociological Association (ASA). Since 2016, three additional sections of ASA –the Economic Sociology, Labor and Labor Movements, and Inequality, Poverty and Mobility sections— have become co-equal sponsors of the blog.

To ensure the continued growth and evolution of WIPsociology, the bylaws outline the practices and principles that serve to guide the blog’s governance.
