Genealogy special issue “Genealogies of Terror: Histories of the Present,” guest edited by Professor Michael Blain of Boise State University. This should call attention to the many possible lines of critical research in this area. The purpose of this issue is to provide a venue for scholars engaged in genealogies of terror, terrorism, or counterterrorism that are directly relevant to the history of present (i.e. the “present” understood in its contemporary globalized or worldwide sense).
