The Pacific Sociological Association (PSA) will hold its 93rd annual meeting April 7–10, 2022, in Sacramento, CA. The theme of the meeting is “Telling Our Stories: Collective Memory and Narratives of Race, Gender, and Community Identity.” The study of collective memory is an interdisciplinary and intersectional nexus of several disciplines. As sociologists, how do we use the canon of our discipline, the theories that engage our discipline into that of memory, and the collective consciousness of our society?
