Lincoln H. Day, demographer and sociologist, passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 94. With his wife, Alice, Day authored the book Too Many Americans (Houghton Mifflin 1964), and he was the author, coauthor, and editor of more than 80 book chapters and articles, as well as several other books. Day joined the faculties of Princeton, Harvard, and Yale; was the Chief of the Demographic and Social Statistics Branch at the United Nations; and was Senior Research Fellow at the Australian National University for 20 years.
