The preliminary roster of invited sessions is now available. Invited sessions are selected from content generated by the Program Committee and via member suggestions.
Plenary Sessions are highlighted programs opposite which no other programming is scheduled.
Presidential Panels are programming selected by the President to spotlight research of timely importance.
Thematic Sessions provide the opportunity to expand the meeting theme beyond the plenary sessions.
Special Sessions are usually on topics that are of special interest or importance to the Program Committee but not necessarily related to the meeting theme.
Regional Spotlight Sessions feature research on or in the area of the meeting's location.
Author Meets Critics Sessions use a panel/debate format, these sessions highlight major scholarly books of interest to sociologists.
