Held in conjunction with the ASA Annual Meeting (August 17-20, 2012). Registered participants in the ASA High School Teachers Conference have access to all regular Annual Meeting activities.
The conference provides a great opportunity for high school sociology teachers to expand their resource base and meet others.

High School Teachers Can Join ASA!
High school teachers can join the ASA at a special discounted rate of $60 for 2011. As ASA members, high school teachers receive all of the regular benefits of ASA membership, plus they automatically receive a personal subscription to Contexts magazine and a free subscription to TRAILS, the Teaching Resources and Innovations Library for Sociology.

Introduction to Sociology Curriculum Guidelines
The purpose of Introsocsite is
to freely share the curriculum designed by the 2001 ASA Task Force on High School Sociology for a college-level
high school sociology course, as well as general resources to assist in the teaching and learning of Intro to
Sociology.
