Who participates in the ASA Honors Program?
- Undergraduate students who are majoring in sociology;
- Current juniors or seniors* (or sophomores, in special circumstances) who have not participated in previous ASA Honors Programs;
- Academically exceptional students whose grades and professors attest to their abilities;
- Students from all over the country and the world; and
- Students interested in making new friends, developing professional and academic contacts, being intellectually stimulated, and learning more about what it means to do sociology and to be a sociologist.
Note: Those of you who are current seniors will have already graduated (and are perhaps headed for Graduate school) when you participate in the Honors Program.

The application deadline is February 15, 2012.
