Call for Papers - Global and Transnational Sociology at ASA 2013 (New York)
This year for the 108th annual meeting of the American Sociological Association in New York, the section on Global and Transnational Sociology will be hosting the following open submission sessions:
- Global and Transnational (3 sessions): Submission jointly to Wesley Longhofer (email@example.com) and Sadia Saeed (firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Roundtables: Submission to Nicholas Wilson (email@example.com)
- Joint Session With Sociology of Law: “Failures and Challenges of Global Governance: The Case of Financial Regulation” Submission to Terry Halliday (firstname.lastname@example.org)
There are also two invited sessions: “Rethinking the Global and Transnational in Power and Politics” and “Whither the New Global and Transnational Elite?”
As a reminder, the deadline for submission is Jan 9th, 2013 at 3pm EST through the ASA submission system. In addition to submitting your scholarly work, we encourage you to submit nominations for the section awards that will be presented at the meeting. The deadline for award submissions is March 1st.
