FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

ASA Funding Opportunities - There are several funding sources provided by the ASA: Minority Fellowship Program; Mass Media Science Fellow Program; Community Action Research Initiative; ASA Congressional Fellowship; Fund for the Advancement of the Discipline; and ASA Teaching Enhancement Fund.

National Science Foundation - The National Science Foundation is an independent U.S. government agency responsible for promoting science and engineering through programs that invest over $3.3 billion per year in almost 20,000 research and education projects in science and engineering.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation - The Foundation's Scholars in Health Policy Research Program was established in 1992 to foster the development of creative thinkers in health policy research. Click here for information on how to apply, as well as a link to the online application form.

Social Movement Studies: Journal of Social, Cultural and Political Protest - An international and inter-disciplinary journal providing a forum for academic debate and analysis of extra-parliamentary political, cultural and social movements throughout the world.
