Mentoring Program

At the most recent ASA meeting in New York, the section council agreed that our members might benefit from having extra resources throughout the academic year, and so we are reviving the section's mentorship program! Thanks to those who carried out the program before.

This mentorship can take place at any time in the calendar year, not specifically at ASA meetings. The section council is considering a separate opportunity for mentoring at the next ASA meeting.

I will be spearheading the “matching” process. To ensure that we do the best job at pairing you up with a mentor or mentee, we ask those who are interested to fill out a very brief online survey. It should take no more than 5 minutes to fill out. Here is the link:

In order to be considered for the mentorship program for this academic year, we ask that you complete the survey by Dec. 15, 2013. Shortly thereafter, I will email you with your mentorship program pairing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at aocampo.cpp@gmail.com

Warmest regards,

Anthony C. Ocampo
