Summary:
About 90 percent of regular ASA members were employed full-time or part-time in institutions of higher education in 2010. The majority of these positions were held at undergraduate institutions with graduate programs. A small percentage were employed at community or junior colleges. Of those working outside of the academy, the largest percentage are employed at non-profit organizations.
