Advertising on the ASA Website
An online approach is essential to outreach and marketing efforts. In response to increased demand, ASA now offers monthly fixed ads on the primary entryways into the ASA website. By expanding or starting your online marketing program on the ASA website, you can take advantage of the rapidly increasing traffic to www.asanet.org, as ASA expands its online services to members and others interested in sociology and sociological research. ASA offers as available properties the following top navigation landing pages:
Only one ad will appear on each page. Rates (per property):
First month $400
Second month $350
Third month+ $300
Closing Dates: Online advertisements should be submitted by the 15th of the month prior to placement (e.g., January 15 for February ads). Ads will be posted on the first of the each month.
Requirements: Advertisers should provide artwork in a .gif or .jpg file not to exceed 40k. Animated gifs not accepted. All ads should measure 468x60 (width x height). Include the URL to which the ad should resolve. (See current guidelines from the Interactive Advertising Bureau.) Send artwork, reservations (include property page and preferred month of placement), and billing address via e-mail to Karen Gray Edwards, Director of Publications and Membership, firstname.lastname@example.org.
