American Sociological Association: Student Forum Professional Development Certificate
Professional Development Certificate Program
Student Forum is pleased to offer a Professional Development Certificate for its members, based on attendance (proof by signature of session oranizer/ leader/ presider) at SEVEN (7) sessions, meetings, or workshops. Students can choose to either attend SEVEN (7) from the list provided or attend SIX (6) from the list and include ONE (1) session that the student is presenting in. The Student Forum Advisory Board (SFAB) worked closely with the ASA Executive Office to provide a list of sessions that fall under the theme of professional development for sociology students. While the list is obviously not exhaustive of ALL the possibilities in the Annual Meeting program, great effort was made to be representative both content-wise and time-slot wise. After obtaining all SEVEN (7) signatures, please drop off the completed form at the ASA Information Desk or mail it after the Annual Meeting to: Beth Floyd, ASA Student Affairs Program Assistant, 1430 K Street, NW #600, Washington, DC 20005. Or scan and email the form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Professional Development Certificate Form is available to print from here and brought to the meeting or you can pick up a copy at the ASA Information Desk which will be located near Registration.
