ASA Membership Totals

Summary:  This figure shows that total ASA membership increased 6.7 percent over the last decade, from 6,872 total members in 2000 to 13,708 total members in 2010. Regular membership (that is, members with voting rights within the association) typically makes up about half of ASA members and increased about 7 percent during this period. The next largest group, full-time students, make up about a third of ASA membership and increased nearly 17 percent between 2000 and 2010. The remaining members are associate, emeritus, and lifetime members.
