Sociology of Emotions Call for Awards Nominations
Nominations are being sought for the most outstanding, article-length graduate student paper that contributes to the sociology of emotions empirically, theoretically, and/or methodologically. Authors of eligible papers must be graduate students at the time of the paper’s submission. Multiple-authored papers are eligible for the award if all authors are graduate students.
To submit a nomination, please send a PDF file for the paper to Andres Schneider (email@example.com).
Nominations are being sought for the most outstanding book published in the last three years that contributes to the sociology of emotions empirically, theoretically, and/or methodologically. The recipient(s) must be a member of the Sociology of Emotions section.
To submit a nomination, please send a brief nomination (book author and contact information, title, publisher) to Will Kalkhof (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The nominator or author should provide book copies to the three members of the committee. (Publishers are typically willing to send complimentary copies for award competitions. If the publisher will not do so, then it is the nominator's responsibility to send a copy to the chair of the committee within two weeks of the nomination.) Book copies should be mailed to
