Ellen Idler
Ellen Idler, Emory University, was quoted in a recent Huffington Post article about her Journal of Health and Social Behavior study, which found that married adults who undergo heart surgery are more than three times as likely as single people who have the same surgery to survive the next three months. The study was also the subject of articles in dozens of other media outlets including the Toronto Sun, USA Today, TIME.com, Agence France-Presse, the Edmonton Sun, U.S. News and World Report, and Yahoo!News.
