As part of a commitment to helping departments and department chairs create strong, vital programs, the American Sociological Association's Academic and Professional Affairs Program sponsors the Department Resources Group (DRG). The DRG is a cadre of more than 40 sociologists from universities, colleges, and community colleges who are experienced and trained in consulting with sociology departments and assisting in departmental reviews and evaluations and conducting workshops.
