Black Feminist Sociology: Perspectives and Praxis, edited by Zakiya Luna And Whitney Pirtle, invites submissions of abstracts for Black Feminist Sociology, an edited volume highlighting works of established and emerging thinkers in the Black feminist sociological tradition. The work is under contract with Routledge Press. A first of its kind, Black Feminist Sociology will bring together a diverse set of intellectuals and activists for a timely, accessible, and intellectually stimulating conversation on both the foundations and current contributions of Black feminist sociological thought. Submissions should offer exposition on: what it means to be a Black feminist sociologist; on how to best ‘do’ Black feminist sociology; and/or on cutting-edge research and visions for the future of the field. Submit a 500-word abstract and bio by March 15, 2019. For more information, visit: drive.google.com/file/d/1kdLQ7jtr7T-MHu3wLOTGfROGz6yk1d28/view.
