The 2018 March for Science

March 15, 2018

Join your fellow sociologists for the 2nd annual March for Science on April 14, 2018.

In 2017, more than one million people around the world gathered together in the largest event for science advocacy in history, the March for Science.  The March for Science is a public celebration of science and a reminder of the important role evidence-based research plays in informing public policy.

The primary event will take place in Washington, DC, and there are already 175 satellite events planned. To find the event closest to you, see the March for Science webpage

We have printable signs for you to download, print, and carry at the march. These slogans were the result of a crowdsourcing effort for last year’s march. Thank you to Liz Hoisington, Paula England, and @socialscinerd.
