Invites applications for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Sociology to begin August 2009. We are seeking candidates with research and teaching interests in social inequality and social stratification. Qualified candidates will have a PhD in sociology by the date of appointment. Applicants should submit the following: a statement of research and teaching interests, curriculum vitae, publications, information regarding teaching (approach, experience and effectiveness), and three letters of reference addressing teaching strengths in addition to scholarly activity.
