The online application portal for the Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) is now live. Prospective applicants can review the essay prompts prior to beginning the submission process at www.asanet.org/funding/mfp_application.cfm. MFP is supported by significant annual contributions from Sociologists for Women in Society, Alpha Kappa Delta, and the Midwest Sociological Society, along with the Association of Black Sociologists, the Southwestern Sociological Association, numerous individual ASA members, and the Eastern Sociological Society and the Pacific Sociological Association. Eligible applicants MUST be enrolled in and have completed one full academic year in a graduate program that grants the PhD in sociology at the time of applying. Applicants must be members of an underrepresented racial/ethnic minority group in the United States.
