Need Today's Data Yesterday?
These tables show trends in sociology as a profession, going back as far as 1930. Included are individual tables on enrollments, degrees awarded, employment, faculty salaries, and women and minorities in the pipeline. The Research Department constantly updates them so that the most recent information for policy implementation and planning purposes are available. They are based on secondary data from nationally representative surveys as well as data collected by the ASA. Since we use a variety of data sources, there may be small discrepancies among the findings. To access the data tables, simply click on the title of the table you wish to display, and use the forward and back buttons to navigate the site.
