2009 Registration

 Online Registration

Preregistration closed on July 6. Forms and payments must be postmarked/faxed no later than July 6 to be eligible for the preregistration discount. Registration materials postmarked/faxed after July 6 will not be accepted for preregistration; they will be held at the Situations Desk in the Hilton San Francisco for processing at the on-site registration rates. On-site Registration will open on Friday, August 7, at 1:30 pm in the Grand Ballroom A at the Hilton San Francisco.

Access to all ASA services is restricted to meeting registrants. Badges are required for entry to the ASA Exhibits, Employment Service, and Child Care Service. Attendance at events that require fee payment (e.g., Tours, Seminars, Courses, Chairs Conference, Director of Graduate Studies Series, TEF Just Desserts, and MFP Benefit) is restricted to those who have registered for the meeting.

Program Participants [+] Details

The deadline to preregister had been extended to Friday, May 15.  Don't delay; participants on the program who want their names included in the Final Program listing should act quickly.  Presenters who have not preregistered by deadline will be dropped from the online and final programs beginning on June 1.


Confirmations [+] Details

Continuing our commitment to a more environmentally sustainable meeting, we no longer print and mail confirmations to those who register online. Please save the e-mailed confirmation as your record. Those who register via fax and mail will receive a printed confirmation by mail.


Pre-Registration Pickup [+] Details

Attendees who registered before preregistration closed on July 6 may pick up their badges, program packets, and special tickets at the Preregistration counters in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton San Francisco after their arrival at the meeting site. Please see registration service hours below.

On-Site Registration

Those who missed the July 6 preregistration deadline will be able to register on-site—at higher rates—at the ASA On-site Registration counters in the Grand Ballroom A of the Hilton San Francisco beginning on August 7.

Registration Policies


Refunds/Cancellations [+] Details

Cancellation notice must be made in writing. 90% of non-participant registration fees will be refunded if written cancellation is received before July 6. Cancellations and refund requests received after July 6 will not be accepted. All fees are non-refundable after July 6, 2009. Unfortunately, under no circumstances can ASA issue refunds for no-shows.

Program participant registration fees are non-refundable; cancellations will not be accepted nor refunds issued.


Duplicate Payments [+] Details

The 90% refund policy applies to any and all duplicate payments. If you fax your registration form with a credit card authorization, do not send a confirming copy by mail.


Program Participants [+] Details

All program participants were required to preregister by May 15 in order to have their names listed in the Final Program. Program participant registration fees are non-refundable. Only one registration fee payment is required from a participant. If additional payments are received, 90% of duplicate fees will be refunded.

 

Super Shuttle Discount

Between August 1-17, Annual Meeting attendees may obtain $2.00 off from SFO to ASA hotels; and $4.00 from OAK to ASA hotels.
