Child Care
Continuing its long tradition of providing an on-site program of activities for children of Annual Meeting registrants, ASA has again made arrangements with KiddieCorp to offer a full child care program during daytime program sessions on August 11-14 for children between the ages of 6 months to 12 years. KiddieCorp is in its twenty-first year of providing high quality children's programs and youth services to conventions, trade shows, and special events.
The ASA Child Care Service will be located at the Sheraton New York, co-headquarters hotel for the 2007 Annual Meeting. The Sheraton is across the street from the Hilton New York, where ASA registration and exhibits are located.

Families intending to use the ASA Child Care Service must preregister before July 11. The non-refundable preregistration deposit is $50 per child. The deposit will be applied toward the on-site daily usage fees, which are $50 full-day and $30 half-day for preregistrants.

Several financial assistance scholarships are available to provide reduced daily usage fees for children of unemployed or low-income members/students. To apply for a scholarship, write a “real” letter identifying your membership status and requesting a child care scholarship and attach the letter to your registration form or sent it to ASA Meeting Services, 1307 New York Avenue NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005; (202) 638-0882 fax; meetings@asanet.org. Be sure to fill out the Child Care Registration portion of the registration form, provide daily usage estimates, and remit the basic child care preregistration deposit.

Space for Non-Preregistrants [Details]

It is unlikely that non-preregistered families can be accommodated on-site. The service staffing is contracted based on the number and age of preregistered children, and on-site adjustments are limited. IF there are any openings, fees for children who were not preregistered will be $75 per day per child. No exceptions.
