	Resolution of the 2007-2008 Council of the American Sociological Association August 15, 2007 The Council of the American Sociological Association, meeting in New York City, August 15, 2007, by acclimation expresses its deepest appreciation to Dr. Craig Calhoun for the outstanding history of American sociology that he organized and edited on behalf of the Association on the occasion of its 2005 Centennial celebration.
