Every year the SFAB Paper Sessions and Roundtables sub-committee selects one paper that was submitted to the Student Forum paper session to be that year's Student Paper Winner. The winner will receive a $100 award upon notification and also a Student Forum Travel Award of $225 to help defray travel expenses. The Travel Award will be distributed at the Student Reception held during the ASA meeting.
Students should submit their paper through the ASA Online Paper Submission System. Papers are peer-reviewed and four to five papers are selected to be in one of two paper sessions. Those who are not selected for a paper session will be included in the Student Forum sponsored roundtable session.
The 2018 Online Paper Submission System will open November 1 and the deadline for submission is January 11, 2018 at 5:00pm EST.
