Student Forum is pleased to offer a Professional Development Certificate for its members, based on attendance (proof by signature of session oranizer/ leader/ presider) at SIX (6) sessions, meetings, or workshops. Students can choose to either attend SIX (6) from the list provided or attend FIVE (5) from the list and include ONE (1) session that the student is presenting in. The Student Forum Advisory Board (SFAB) worked closely with the ASA Executive Office to provide a list of sessions that fall under the theme of professional development for sociology students. While the list is obviously not exhaustive of ALL the possibilities in the Annual Meeting program, great effort was made to be representative both content-wise and time-slot wise. After obtaining all SEVEN (7) signatures, please drop off the completed form at the ASA Information Desk or mail it after the Annual Meeting to: ASA Student Affairs Program, 1430 K Street, NW #600, Washington, DC 20005. Or scan and email the form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 2017 Professional Development Certificate Program form will be available to print in August, before the meeting begins. Copies will also be available to pick up at the Meeting Services desk in Montréal.
