The Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association provides the opportunity for professionals involved in the scientific study of society to share knowledge and new directions in research and practice. Nearly 600 program sessions are convened in August that provide a scholarly outlet for more than 3,000 research papers and over 4,500 presenters.
120th ASA Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting will be held August 8-12, 2025 in Chicago. President Adia M. Harvey Wingfield has chosen the theme “Reimagining the Future of Work.”
121st ASA Annual Meeting
The 121st ASA Annual Meeting will be held August 7-11, 2026 in New York. President-Elect Shelley J. Correll has chosen the theme “Disrupting the Status Quo: Putting Sociology to Work for a More Equitable Society.”
